April & Nessa

April and Nessa came to us separately, and now are fast friends! April was handed to a friend of mine, on the street, by a woman who could not care for her.  I took Nessa from another rescue: she was alone, like April, and like April, needed a friend her age.  Kittens have specific abilities and needs at each stage of development...Nessa was a bit bigger, but April was tougher! Do not mess with April! April knows what she wants and what she doesn't want! Nessa is more laid back...most of my grey cats have been....hmmm...
​These two love to chase and tumble, practice their disembowelments, play hard then sleep hard. Typical kittens! They are a joy to watch. Neither one had an easy start (understatement) but are happy, loving little ones now! Of course we want them to stay together in their new home. Nessa is spayed, April still too young to spay. Nessa is also still wary, and it will take a special, patient family to reassure her that humans and loud noises are not reason to panic. Nessa will purr happily when she's lying down and you come to pet her. It's just the sudden movement or noise that startles her.  Come meet them!
