Lovely Kira

This young beauty came to us from yet another homeless woman...Shakira had been staying in a bedroom at the woman's dad's house. He didn't like cats.  She had come to the woman way too young, a mere eight weeks, and had been very sick.  She was restored to the lovely cat you see here by the time I met her. She was much loved by her guardian, and we came to love her too.  I's so glad she found her way to us.  The young woman worked her way out of the shelter into a training position, and eventually into a job.  She died in 2017 from FeLV, and is greatly missed!
