Our Simon

One of a kind, of course! Simon was born here, to a sweet mother, along with his four siblings.  By the time he was old enough to be adopted, he'd contracted a cold, and wound up staying with us! Lucky us! Sweet as he was beautiful, Simon was a constant companion,  bedmate, and first on any available lap.  When he was one year old, he developed an abcess on his jaw.  X-rays showed that it was not an infected tooth, "just" an abcess. It healed well.  Right after that, he developed a serious GI infection and died within a few days.  The consensus was that the abcess had gotten into his system.  I'd had that happen just once before, about forty years ago. Simon left us in April of 2022.  Be thankful for every day with your beloved animals.
