Mother Olivia with Otis

This sweet mother was too young to have babies...food with growth hormones (BGH) causes early puberty. She was not confident as to what to do, and her milk was insufficient.  She inadvertently crushed the little Tortie girl, and despite supplemental feeding, this tiny guy did not survive either. She had just had the two. The third came to us separately, with an unusual protrusion from his navel.  Bless his heart, he died shortly after he arrived, after three vets who were in the zoom class I was attending (!) conferred about his situation. His photo is not included. We are saddened by the loss of these dear little ones. Mom will be spayed soon and returned to her loving home.
