Valiant & Dear Georgio II
This little one broke our hearts...he tried so valianatly to overcome his many injuries, mosts likely from abuse. He had a collapsed lung, dislocated hip, neurological problems, and problems with his spine. He was brought to us (and I'm glad he was) wobbly, then got to where he could not walk. He came on Feb. 2, and left us on March 1, 2018. He had seen an array of doctors, including a wonderful neurologist, but was too weak for any possible surgery. Lord, how he tried! He had trouble breathing, off and on, but late on the first, his breathing became untenaable. He went at once to the wonderful PETS Referral center in Berkeley (just 10 minutes, it was 1 am) and was released by a comnpassionate doctor while in my arms. He is alive in our hearts and in spirit. We love you Georgio!!!
