Recommended Vets

ON RECOMMENDED VETS & CARE:

Remember! A holistic vet has many more tools in her bag than  Western-only, or Allopathic, doctors!

All Paws Veterinary Clinic, with the beloved Dr. Anne Reed, in Richmond, CA. An holistic vet who has worked wonders with my cats! Services include homeopathy, Chinese & Western herbs, acupuncture, etc. She has a waiting list, so call now :-) Dr. Holiday also offers her services here. Note: Dr. Reed is not taking new patients at this time.

Margaret Holiday, DC.  She is absolutely fantastic, a chiropractor and so much more!! Cats have those Looong spines, and often an adjustment can work wonders! She visits many vet clinics; I see her at East San Rafael Veterinary Clinic, 415-456-4465.

Abbey Pet Hospital, El Cerrito Several great vets in this practice. I have worked with the owner, Dr. Judd. He's wonderful, as is his staff.

Gary Richter, DVM, Holistic Veterinary Care, 4382 Piedmont Ave., Oakland, CA 94611
He's a certified acupuncturist and chiropractor, among other things! My Archie visits his Hyperbaric Oxygen chamber!! For a slow-healing wound. He's amazing! His new book is too: The Ultimate Pet Health guide! Get it!

Creature Comfort Holistic Veterinary Center, in Oakland CA
They're too distant for me to go on a regular basis, but wonderful, with acupuncture, western & eastern herbs, homeopathy, etc. Several vets. 3505 Macarthur Ave.

Alternatives for Animals   www.alternatives4animals.com
They are in Pleasant Hill, CA. Karen Rettig is the primary vet.

Jan Fennell, Animal Trainer: https://janfennellthedoglistener.com/ She's in England, and has written some great books.

There are many other holistic vets.  The site https://www.ahvma.org/find-a-holistic-veterinarian lists them in all areas of the country.
