Sponsor a Cat
We have cats who come to us with urgent critical needs, and those who have chronic problems which need on-going treatments. Here are a few. You can choose one of them, and make an ongoing contribution to her or his care.
Gloria
When Gloria came to us three years ago, she could not stand or walk. she was just a kitten, four months old. We determined that she had suffered a severe head trauma, and started acupuncture and chiropractic treatments, along with physical therapy. She gets treated every two weeks, and as you can see, has made remarkable progress! She still falls with heartbreaking frequency, but is never, Never discouraged and she Never gives up! she is otherwise a very healthy, robust,
strong and confident cat! Help her to continue her treatments. You will receive personal updates on her condition and the strides (literally) she is making! |
Matthew
Isn't he beautiful?! Matthew "cleaned up" really well...he let me give him a bath to get all the caked mud off his feet and tail, and let me remove a hundred small mats...and clean his ears, and around his poor mouth...his teeth were all bad, save for the four canines, and his whole mouth was infected! I got to him just in time. His abdomen was distended too, and I feared the worst. But! the x-rays and ultrasound showed that it was only constipation, Whew!! That's all fixed now, and Matthew is doin' just fine! He is a dignified gentleman, and is starting to speak, after almost a week here. We love him! He has been lording it over the living room, going back to the cage you see here to get some R & R, peace and quiet, and a good nap. He is an old cat...the chiropractor said that his spine was in good shape, but was most certainly an old spine.
Matt is a big cat! Lanky, with long legs. I can not wait till his coat becomes glossy and thick! |
